A studio model is the classic western business model, with usually one owner who calls the shots, pays the bills, and hires teachers as employees.
In the collective model, we share a lot of things- props, company, a love of healing arts- but the biggest thing we share is rent. We meet regularly and work together to run the Collective as a whole. Yoga teachers, massage therapists, dance instructors, and craniosacral experts all practice under one roof, but each practitioner runs her own separate business. This way practitioners are able to make a living and maintain creative and financial independence.

The short answer is yes, usually. Most practitioners ask that students RSVP if they’re intending on coming to class. That way, if there’s anything that you need to know, whether it’s pre-class info or last-minute updates, they can get in touch with you! Walk ins are almost always welcome, unless a class is full already.
When in doubt, check the class description for special details.

Reach out to a practitioner directly. They will help you get something on the books!
-
Check with the practitioner. Since all proceeds go directly to your teacher, it’s up to them what modes of payment they accept, and when. Cash, Venmo, and other quick-pay apps are usually a safe bet.

Since we have so many lovely teachers, our class schedule is always changing. We try to keep you up-to-date with our the website calendar, weekly schedule emails, and our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Once you’ve found a class that you want to attend, RSVP to the practitioner. They will confirm all the details!

Our doors magically open about 15 minutes before and generally close about 15 minutes after a scheduled class. If you have a private session with a practitioner, you’ll coordinate with them for easy peasy logistics.

Some practitioners do! Reach out to one to check.
For the whole collective? Not right now. It’s something that we would like to offer in the future, but it’s tricky to coordinate since we all run different businesses!

We currently have shirts, ball caps, beanies, and sweatshirts available to purchase in-studio. Come take a class and see what swag works for you!
